Media accreditation now open for Pakistan v England Twenty20 Internationals at Dubai Sports City

Media accreditation is now open for the Pakistan - England Twenty20 International (T20I) matches at Dubai Sports City on 19 and 20 February.

The matches, sponsored by WorldCall and presented by Bank Alfalah, will both take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Media wishing to cover the action must complete the relevant forms and return them by close of business on Monday 8 February.

The two matches will bring together the hosts of the most recent International Cricket Council World Twenty20 event (ICC WT20), England, and Pakistan, the winners of that event in June last year.

Pakistan is the most successful side in T20I history, having won 21 of its 27 matches in this format of the game for a winning percentage of 79.62. The next best record belongs to South Africa with 65.38 percent win ratio.

England, where the game was launched at domestic level in 2003, has a win percentage of 40.90 having failed to progress beyond the Super Eights stages of the ICC WT20 last year.

The matches will represent the final chances for both sides to play this format of the game before the next ICC WT20 event starts in the West Indies on 30 April.
