The Domestic Monitoring Committee has decided that the Final of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy should be played on the home ground of the team topping the league table. Faisalabad Region and Peshawar Region teams have already qualified for the Final. After the completion of league matches, if both teams have equal points, equal wins and equal number of defeats then the team having better "Net Run Rate" will be on the top. The Final will be played from 28th December 2004 to 1st January 2005. The Final will be televised live.
