Panel Induction Course for Umpiring
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has conducted the Basic Regional Course for umpiring in eight centres of the country. The course was attended by 260 participants out of which 40 successfully cleared it. 33 women were among the attendees and of them 7 successfully completed the course (they will supervise in women’s cricket tournaments only).
PCB will be conducting the Panel Induction Course (PIC) from 25th-29th April, 2005 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Candidates who have completed the Basic Regional Course and have a minimum Intermediate level of education are eligible to appear in PIC.
As part of its long term objectives, PCB is making serious endeavours to promote the standard of umpiring in the country under its special development program.
