Draft Constitution presented to President's Chief of Staff
by Pakistan Cricket Board

The draft of the new Constitution was presented to the Chief of Staff to the President by Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mr Shaharyar M Khan in the morning of 15th June 2005. The draft Constitution has been drawn up by the Constitution Commission comprising Justice (R) Karamat R Bhandari (Chairman) Mr Makhdoom Ali Khan, Attorney General of Pakistan and Mr Zahid Hamid, Minister of State for Defence.
The President may choose to have the Draft Constitution vetted by experts and relevant Government Departments before it is finally approved.
PCB would not offer further comments on the Draft Constitution till such time it gets the President's assent.
