ICC President Congratulates Pakistan Team on the outstanding performance in Test and ODI's

Dear Shaharyar,

I would like to congratulate you on the outstanding performance of the Pakistan team both in the Test matches and the One Day Internationals. I would be grateful if you would pass on my congratulations and best wishes to Inzamam, Bob Woolmer and the team.

I am strongly of the view that the performance of the team on the field reflects the management and administrative support, or the lack of it, off the field. The credit for improvement in the Pakistan team’s performance in the series in India, West Indies and now against England is to a large extent due to the direction and leadership you have provided; you must be rightly proud of what has been achieved over the past two years.

As ever, I am indebted to you and your team at the PCB for the excellent arrangements throughout our stay in Pakistan. Thank you for your most generous hospitality.
