Dear Shaharyar Saheb,

It was wonderful to receive a kind note from you upon Asia's successful bid for the 2011 World Cup.

I have seen the tense moments closely while the process was on and would like to compliment you and thank you for the way you stood up on behalf of Asia.

It was a difficult task in convincing the other member countries for support at that crucial juncture and your charm and grace has won us the day. I have my doubts, if any other member country could have handled the situation so diligently.

We are lucky Sir to have you on board and Asia will be always indebted to you in hosting the 2011 World Cup.
