Letter from Indian PM - 31 May 2006

Dear Shaharyar Khan Sahib,

I have received your letter of 18th April 2006 along with the cheque for US$ 2.5 million as the contribution of the cricketing fraternity of India and Pakistan towards the relief fund for the victims of the October 2005 earthquake in the northern areas of India and Pakistan.

The Indo-Pak Friendship Series 2006 has scaled new heights in the sporting relations between our two countries and I wish you success in hosting the Cricket world Cup in 2011.
