Condolence Message
The following condolence message from Pakistan Cricket Board was sent to wife of senior and well-respected journalist Mr Zafar Samdani, on the sad demise of her husband:
Dear Rehana,
On behalf of my colleagues at Pakistan Cricket Board and on my own behalf, I write to express our deep sorrow on the passing away of your husband. Zafar Bhai was a great role model in the field of journalism and had the courage to speak his mind on a range of issues and subjects. His passing away is a great loss not only to cricket lovers but also to the media community.
All of us fully share your grief in this hour of sorrow and we pray that your husband’s soul rests in peace. May Allah Almighty give you and your family strength to bear this huge loss. Ameen.
