The following points emerged from the meeting: Briefing on Hearing involving Inzamam-ul-Haq The Chairman PCB gave an in-depth briefing on the ICC Code of Conduct Hearing adjudicated by ICC Chief Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle. The Ad-hoc Committee welcomed the adjudicator's decision on the ball tampering accusation and endorsed PCB’s proposal to the ICC for an investigation of Darrell Hair's conduct over the Oval forfeit. PCB's Television Channel The Government of Pakistan has agreed to allot a terrestrial channel to PCB available through Shalimar Recording Company (SRC) which is essentially controlled by the Ministry of Information. The Ad-hoc Committee decided that a feasibility report should be circulated before the next meeting so that a decision in principle could be taken on this issue. Poor Performance of the Under-19 Team The Ad-hoc Committee was critical of the poor performance of the Under-19 Team against India Under-19 as also the Sialkot Region's heavy loss to Uttar Pradesh in the inaugural Mohammad Nissar Trophy at Dharamsala. The Committee was informed that the PCB would be holding an in-depth review of coaching and selection process of junior teams in the next few days so that remedial measures can be taken. Welfare Fund The Committee directed that a proposal for a cricketer's welfare fund should be prepared by a sub-Committee comprising Dr Nasim Ashraf, Mr Mueen Afzal and Mr Ali Raza with PCB Director Cricket Operations Salim Altaf as Coordinator which would consult experts and propose an action plan by the end of November.
