DateLine: 20th November 2006 Media Release - 20 November 2006 The two-day final of the Pepsi/PCB School Cricket Championship 2006 has been scheduled for 23-24 November, 2006 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. The match timings are 9:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. each day. District Nazim Lahore Mian Amir Mehmood has graciously consented to be the Chief Guest for the special occasion on the second day of the final on 24 November, 2006. The school team of Government Nanakpura School Peshawar City will contest the final against the school team from Muslim Model High School Lahore. The Nanakpura school was the Regional champion of Peshawar Region while Muslim Model school were victorious from Lahore Region.
The match officials for the final will be as follows: In order to revive the traditional nurseries of cricket, PCB in collaboration with PEPSI, organized this all Pakistan School Cricket Tournament, now in its second year, the final of which is being played on the dates mentioned above. This year, 575 schools participated in the championship held in 114 districts in the 11 Regions. Both government and private schools participated in the tournament. PCB-accredited media representatives are kindly requested to attend the closing ceremony of the final on 24 November, 2006.
