Match Referees Course-2008

Pakistan Cricket Board is conducting a course for new Match Referees from 27th to 29th August, 2008 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The Course has been organized by the PCB as a part of its capacity building exercise to update and refine professionalism of players, umpires and referees alike. Veteran referees Abdul Sami Khan, Rizwan Khateeb, Ishtiaq Ahmed and Khizar Hayat will conduct the said course. Lectures will be delivered on the first two days with a written/oral exam on the last day.
Candidates must fulfill the following criteria.
1. Age should be between 28 to 55 years.
2. Should have played first class cricket preferably Test or ODI.
3. Should be medically fit.
4. Should be able to communicate in English.
5. Should be computer literate.
The candidates will be required to produce an attested copy of their certificates at the time of attending the course.
All interested candidates may submit their applications to PCB by August 10th, 2008 through their respective Cricket Association/Regions.
