Commission to address illegal bowling actions
PCB has been increasingly concerned
at the growth of illegal bowling actions in Pakistan at all levels.
In order to control and reverse this trend, Chairman PCB has formed
a Commission that would make its recommendations for remedial action.
The committee will comprise the following:
a. Syed Fakiruddin Aizaz, Chairman
b. Mr Khizar Hayat
c. Mr Iqbal Sikander
d. Mr Ijaz Fakih
e. Mr Aaqib Javed
The commission would be free to consult experts - foreign and domestic. The
commission would have as its mandate the need to address illegal actions at the
school, club, district, junior and first levels, their detection by umpires and
coaches, the methodology of reporting them and remedial measures to be adopted. The
commission would be guided by ICC's latest proposals on illegal actions.
